These fighters are heading in opposite direction. Szpilka up and Mollo down. Mollo head lunges because he is a brawler, maybe I'm blind but that's what I clearly saw while I was there live. I'll look for it specifically this time since I'll be there again. I'm excited for this fight, but with Szpilka knowing what to expect, I just don't see Mollo winning this unless he jumps on him like a dog and it becomes Bowe vs Golota riot madness!!!!

Is this the lightest Szpilka has been as a HW? I think so, but cannot find any info. Also what did Mollo weigh in his last fight?

I heard that it is Szpilka's lightest HW weight somewhere else. Some article or something, but I don't remember.

As to why he took the fight, I think his people probably think they can make him a big local draw in Chicago and this is the best fight to help do it. It's smart. I always wondered why more promoters don't follow that ethnic/Main Events model with these mid level guys.

Mollo was 231 last fight, and yes, Szpilka is the lightest in his HW career :good

Yes, I saw the pics. Szpilka has been getting his weight down very gradually since his stint in prison. This is good to see and a sign of commitment. Mollo looks to be fit too, despite the slightly heavier weight from the previous fight. Let us hope he comes without excuses or tights for this bout.

After seeing what Mollo can offer Szpilka should be able to fight a less stupid fight this time. He'll win if he can use his legs and slow the pace of the fight and only exchange when he wants to. The slurs about a glass chin are absurd by the way. The left look that knocked him down was hellacious and would've knocked out most heavyweights but he got right back up from it and his legs recovered soon. His chin is ok, it's his defence that made him go life and death with a guy like Mollo and will prevent him from being a world beater.

Mollo put on a few pounds but it is all muscle. He is coming to fight. I have a feeling that whoever loses this will end up in the hospital. Can't wait to be there tonight

I doubt he had that many options left. A rematch with someone who was competitive and knocked him down would give him more publicity than a fight with another old C-level fighter. And I also doubt he could fight someone better than that... judging from his last fights this could be suicidal.
