I rewatched the fight today, since it was such a good scrap. I have a couple of things to say:

The first KD was legit (it was a big uppercut on the inside)

Szpilka boxed very well,- I haven't seen him use his jab so much in any of his other fights. He has very good movement, however he really needs to improve his defense, especially on the ropes, since he basically stands up straight with his chin sticking out. He should cover up or clinch instead of throwing those big uppercuts/hooks.

The second KD was a monstrous punch. Mollo threw that thing with all his power- perfect rotation etc... and it hit Szpilka in the sweet spot on his recently broken jaw. Props to him for standing up and taking control, because not many would be able to do that.

The point deduction was fair, since the referee kept reprimanding Mollo for fouling,- he even said he'd DQ him at one point. Although the cursing was unnecessary...

The KO was beautiful. Perfect 1-2. Szpilka seems to have matured a bit, since he regained his composure each time he got KD'd and kept boxing and moving instead of brawling it out.

Mollo is a very, VERY tough man. He kept on going while getting battered.

Szpilka will provide us with some exciting fights in the future. The kid has talent, time (22-23 yrs old), and if he trains hard & works on his defense he'll become a serious contender. Wars like these make a fighter- young guys need to get humbled and learn.

I'm looking forward to the Zimnoch fight.

Pretty much my thoughts too but I don't agree with the ref that was the worst ref I've seen in a very very long time if not even ever he was so obviously biased it was horrible I hope the comission talks to him and let's him only ref some small fights. When was the last time you heard a ref curse at a fighter especially with the first warning and he should have never deducted the point Szpilka was hurt and tried to clinch and Mollo was trying to push him away that's exactly what every fighter would do if they wanted to finish a hurt fighter and it wasn't a dirty fight at all

what do you think about this cut,, should this fight be stopped?was it good decision to allow this fight to continue?
i mean it looked really ugly...most of the time fight would be stopped if cut like this happen, especially in the UK..

What I did like were those 2 feints and range finding jabs he threw to set up the 2 left hands that finished Mollo. Only heavyweights smart enough to do that are the Klitschko's. Good job against a tough veteran like Mollo. Seemed like Mollo gassed would like to see him in better shape. Both are fun to watch.

There'd be glass all over the place.

I'd like to see Spilka try his press conference bullying on someone like George Foreman. He'd get his sloth looking head taken off.

The fight was sorta like Under Siege. Szpilka underestimated his opponents capabilities and was caught off guard. He almost got derailed.

    Ain't no underestimating an opponent.

Spilka was shown up for what he truly is, like he was against Jameel McCline, nothing but a hyped journeyman with an attitude problem.

Bring him over to the UK and have him fight Price,Fury or Haye.. and he'll be shown up for his shite chin also.

    He has a **** attitude.

I'd like to see him bring his marbles over to the UK and fight, before someone like Simnoch(?) gets to him.

It's a great opportunity for him to make a few dollars.

Spzilka has two fights lined up in the next month. So he seemed to think he was gonna dispose of Mollo easily but it didnt happen.

Sorta like in Under Siege when the terrorists were like oh that guy is just a cook don't worry about him he can't do shite, but that cook use to be a Navy Seal and they got derailed in the end. That almost happend to Szpilka.
