    Rules:
    20 x 20 ring
    15 rounds
    10 point must scoring.
    1960's style officiating.

Moorer has a slight edge in height, a significant advantage in reach, and a significant edge in power. He also has the best pure win over a prime Holyfield. While he didn't match up vs. power hitter like Tua, and was caught late vs. Foreman, I'd pick Double M to beat Foreman in a re-match. Moorer could fight.

Johnson didn't have the punch to hurt Moorer, and IMO was equally chinny as a super middleweight in Choysnki put him out cold, and a 180-185 novice in Gunboat Smith had Johnson down and out in a 4 round exhibition match. Neither Choysnki or Smith would be Cruiser weights today. They would be Light Heavyweights. While Johnson did have fast hands and infighting, you could say the same with Morrer.

I'd favor Moorer on the outside, and the infighting being close to even with Moorer's edge in power being the ultimate difference-maker.

It could be an interesting fight.

Holyfield was prime? I thought he was fighting with a health problem.lol
"Holyfield was hospitalized after the fight. He was suffering from dehydration and a rotator-cuff injury. A kidney bruise was also discovered. He was given a large amount of liquids for the kidney problem, but his lungs filled because his heart was not able to pump the fluids out. He was then diagnosed as having a noncompliant left ventricle. Holyfield retired as a result."
A healthy Holyfield floored Moorer 5 times and stopped him in the rematch. I can't be arsed to comment on any of the rest of this fake news .

Moorer doesn't get Jack out early and ends up takin a beating over 15.

Johnson likely stops Moorer under any set of rules. Even these.

Moorer certainly hit harder. Are you suggesting he did not?

Hrgovic has ducked Marty Bakole , a PPV fight for big money and a lot of exposure .. Remember you said Hrgovic is being moved faster than Mike Tyson?? LOL

    Wrong thread.

Tyson first title fight was his 28th pro fight.

It won’t take that long for Hrgovic to get a world title Title fight.

Now do you have anything to add to this thread ?

Moorer would be far and away the most technically sound fighter Johnson faced, among the very largest, and the first elite southpaw.

I enjoy watching Gene Tunney down champs fight ...but let’s face it they would have to change their styles to compete today. Jack as well as Jeffries and Dempsey were athletes and would absolutely be able to compete today. But not with their styles. Moorer as they were probably makes short work of Jack. Jack was much more accomplished for his time and to me would be better with a more up to date style of fighting.

Who did he stop that was remotely in Moorer's class as a heavyweight?
