Good SBW matchup in the main event.

Aaron Torres (Contender season 2) and a bunch of local yokels on the undercard.

I will be going to this. :good

Cool. Have fun. I think Wednesday Night Fights/FNF are what keeps the sport going in the mainstream media. As long as they are around, the sport looks to be in good shape.

I like "Mighty" Mike Oliver. He fought some good fights, and has some real talent. Just needs more craft.

Yeah, looking forward to seeing how he handles Lopez, who has an interesting record. Went the distance with Mijares, and held Kirilov to an MD; but really only has wins over career losers and got stopped by DPDL in his only previous step up to 122. Of course, Oliver doesn't have the KO pedigree that Ponce does, so this could still be interesting.

I quite like Oliver too, but I dont reckon he is going to much further.

He fights in between two styles kind of and isnt slick enough to be a really good boxer and cant hit hard enough to be a boxer-puncher.
Plus I think he marks and swells to much, the southpaw thing doesnt help that cause with the clashes etc.

Good fighter but me thinks the top echlon of 122 is to strong.

Actually I just rememberd that Molitor is the IBF champ.

Oliver could beat him..maybe. That would be a great matchup, maybe not FOTY but a good, technical bout.

Reynaldo Lopez isn't a bad fighter, he was robbed against Kirilov and was doing quite well against Ponce De Leon before he got overconfident and KTFO.

Get the **** outta here....I might be going as well. All depending on if I can get out of work or if Im gonna be stuck there tonight (a friend of mine is in good with the promoter...did some work over at his dealership, so he can get good tickets...).

I was actually going to leave a post asking about Oliver and how good he is....definately one fighter I havent seen a thing on.

I'd like to get your rundown of the main event IB. It looked like Lopez was pushing Oliver all over the place prior to the end, not landing necessarily but just bullying the hell out of him. Did Oliver get "into" the fight at all?
