http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=438253&cat=boxer In the age of Prizefighter a prospect could have have his debut and 2 other 4 rounders on the same night. 1 way of padding your record on the cheap
Yeah its good to see that, he was out for over a year so its good for him to get a couple of rounds under his belt (even if it was only 4 in total)
good idea . I reckon if Manny cant get a fight with Mayweather he should do that . Fight Khan , Bradley and Alexander one after another in one night at 140 theres a pretty good chance he's win all three in lesss than 12 rounds in total and retire an even bigger legend
It's basically an admittance your opponents are completely **** and worthless. If you have to fight two guys there is no way you could justifiably say it was a fight that benefitted a fighter. The only way its okay is in a situation like this where the fighter has been out of the ring for a long time. Better solution: Fight more often and fight somebody decent.
bad idea this kind of stuff belittles the sport. in a professional arena, no more than one fight a week as an absolute minimum should be fought... if prizefighter, and the acceptance of letting a boxer fight more than once on the same night becomes commonplace, then this will take a lot of the element of skill out of the sport... its a professional sport that is fast becoming very unprofessional at the lower levels...
exhibitions are different....its when this kind of thing ends up on professional records that isnt right....well, not in my eyes anyway
