Mike Perez gunning for Price

European level, 9th best fighter in the division according to the WBC, will be even higher if he beats Thompson.

 

Well if the WBC says it, it must be true.

Perez would have a good chance to beat Price and thats why it will never happen until Price loses his world title shot and Perez actually gets off his fat arse and out of bars in Cork.

 

Look at who Price is fighting , he got tagged easily by Skelton.
He wont go anywhere near Perez ,who is barley active and doesn't have a respectable ranking. It goes to show where Price is at in the boxing world and how he needs to take a big step up in quality.

 

Anyone can get ran at for 10 seconds and take a few shots it took him by surprise, once he got his composure and realised what Skelton was doing he won the remaining 2.50 or so of the round then KO'd him in the following round.

Perez hasn't fought for over a year, Thompson is a lot higher rated than Perez and has beat a higher level of opposition.

 

Thompson doesn't deserve a ranking. He's finished and was never all that in the first place.

If Perez does anywhere near as well as Skelton has career wise I'd be surprised. Can't see Perez ever fighting for a world title.

 

I wouldnt say hes gunning for Price at all, there is a possibility they may fight in the future because they are on the same card but thats it. It'd make a good fight, Price wins by mid-rounds stoppage.

 

Perez would slip price with his head movement then bang him with a hard right.

Posters are so quick to undermine home fighters and cream over foreign fighters on here.

Price has been virtually faultless so far and Perez has literally been the polar opposite by being so inactive.

And yet some round here would still rather have a pop at Price. :huh
