Mike Perez is not glass jawed, but Povetkin will KO him late.

After a grueling and competitive fight Perez wall fall to Povetkins power in the latter rounds. I say this based on two things, Perez has a bad habit of fading in the second half of fights and Jennings hurt him pretty badly once or twice, Jennings isn't exactly the KO artist Povetkin has turned into recently. Thoughts?

Perez' stamina could be the deciding factor. Not sure about the possible stoppage, but I'm siding with Povetkin as well.

Perez isn't exactly hard to either, Povetkin power will claim another victim late just like it did Takam :deal

I'm stoked for this fight.. HW division is really heating up, great to see contenders facing each other more often than in the recent past.

...I'd go as far as to say Perez has an excellent chin, even in the late rounds tempered and somewhat denigrated by his Wile-E-Coyote-running-off-a-cliff stamina.

But Sasha gets him outta there in spite of that. (in spite of the good chin part that is - but in large part because of the aforementioned stamina issues)

Perez chin is pure iron and under his new trainer he will become heavyweight champion of the world. I do not want to see him fight Povetkin however, where there is no belt to win.

would have to agree with you / perez good chin ...but fades in the later rds or looses focus but he has dropped 11 lbs from 242 lbs to 231 lbs ...so that could help him ....if i was perez i would have a 5 rd assault on povetkins body ...povetkin moves his head pretty good....so if i was perezs trainer ...kill that body for 5 rds straight then start hittingthe head

After Povetkin wins his third in a row, he is ready for a new title shot at the end of the year.Maybe after Vlad unified the division.

Povetkin has been on a rampage KOing iron chinned fighters lately , and I don't think Perez is as iron chinned as Takam so Sasha by 10th round KO.

Nope, that is urban legend. :good

I'd love to see Takam rematch either of those guys, personally.

Takam vs. anybody > 95% of heavyweight fights that can be made.
