Can't see a thread on this. An eight rounder on 12 December, can the big Irish/Cuban make the step-up?
There was a story on Sky Sports earlier saying Chagaev had turned down Fury for this fight so it seems pretty certain.
8 rounds is really weird, you'd think it would be at least 10. I think Perez can win this one but it will be a tough test in Germany. He'll have to be at his sharpest because anything close over that distance would favour Chagaev.
Perez is taking a big step up here. I hope he pulls it off though,would make the division a bit more interesting. We don't know how good he is but will find out now for sure. Wonder why only 8 rounds though.

perez is in great shape iv seen him jogging often in the mornings and i saw pictures of him a few weeks ago looking very toned,he told my brother a few weeks ago on facebook hes fit and ready to fight anyone
