Perez is a real boxer. He lives boxing. He fought decent opponents, beat one of the hardest hitting prospects, Mago. He wasn't the same after that fight and just 2 months after he already fought Takam, who schooled Thompson. TT is the number one in American HW. Jennings is hard working that's true. But he is not a boxer. Even I could beat him. He also fought nobodies .. struggled with Fedosov, down against Tupou, went almost the distance with a shot Liakhovich and a bum like Szpilka, who was even down against David Saulsberry, twice. Perez is the first real boxer, in shape, skilled, a warrior, iron chin .. he will destroy Jennings. Jennings must learn more respect, he is very disrespectful and thinks he is god. But he shows it indirectly. Furthermore, he never stepped into a ring before the age of 25 .. no, he can't win and if yes, Perez is still not the same.
i got perez, WHY BECAUSE HE IS MORE SKILLED AND IS ONE OF THE BEST CHALLENGERS AT THIS MOMENT. I DONT RATE JENNINGS'CHIN.
Perez. He looked the better skilled and tougher boxer up until the Mago fight. If he has been able to give that incident a proper place, I expect him to clearly outbox Jennings.
I'm hoping Perez turn up OK. Seems like the Mago fight took alot out of him mentally. Just hoping he breaks through. If he turn up, then Perez. If not, then I'm not sure.
Jennings will beat Perez. I don't see anything special in Perez. Maybe it's because he's fat, but that's his fault. He looks good for a few rounds and slows down. He may have some good boxing skills, but his defense is questionable. Jennings is faster. He's taller and he's also got better defense. In this kind of matchup, I take the guy who comes to fight in shape instead of a talented, but lazy guy who can't keep himself out of buffet line. Jennings by 8-4 UD.
Perez, he is stronger, hits much harder and his amateur career was good. He has a great chin also.............
I'm also still having doubt about Perez after the Mag-fight, I call it the Chris Eubank syndrome, who also never was the same after the Watson-fight. It does something mentally to you, if you nearly kill a guy in the ring. (Kovalev did once, but he doesn't seem to care) I like Jennings, he's a tough and decent fighter. This is his best opponent to date (But I also give him credit to his win to Szpilka). This is looking as a competitive match-up and I hope it will be an action packed fight. My prediction is that jennings will win by UD, or even a draw is possible.
I hope Perez wins, but the only question mark to me is how Perez is going to handle Jennings jabs 84'' reach. Perez knows how to fight small, so I'm confident Perez finds a way for it. We'll see, Perez more skilled though.
I am in shape, I can beat the likes of Jennings, Szpilka, Mitchell. I hope to get Szpilka in the ring before my 10 th pro fight.
