I think his small stature will give him problems against giants like Fury and Price. I'd expect him to comfortably beat the rest. Perez doesn't have the speed or agility of Tyson so getting on the inside of skilled tall fighters who jab will be a problem for him. He hasn't a hope against either Klitschko imo.
Perez bossed Chisora in sparring a couple of years back. Knocked him down I think as well. That said, Chisora was apparently knocked down by a body shot from Belshaw in sparring. Is different animal on fight night.
Right now, going on last nights performance he beats, Audley Price Sexton McDermott I would need to see some more of him before I can make an assessment against Fury, Chisora. The quality in prizefighter last night was dire though. The fighters in the second and third quarter finals had less technique than i've seen in pub car parks at 1am.
Impressive from Perez, a lot better than i thought he was, after his next 3 fights he could be looking at a top 10 place. I would like to see him target Juan Carlos Gomez and Kingpin now, they were up for a fight any way, he has the buzz now, let's hope he and his team use it well now.
Rogan and Sexton would be big fights in Ireland. Rogan would be a cake walk but Sexton would be a good fight to gage were he is at.
x2 good post, except that I think he could probably beat Del Boy, bar Chisora bullying him down the stretch. Fury would be a good fight. He's sturdier than Fields IMO, from what I've seen, Fields would probably struggle with John McDermotts power, if not his ability :yep But too small, in todays era really. He'd be a beast at Cruiser.
:deal i think he'd cause any of them real problems & when he gets more experience under his belt hes going to be something a bit special...
He looked good last night. I'd pick him over everyone on the list except from Chisora, I think that's a close fight which could go either way.
