Not a bad last 2 months for Perez considering just how inactive he was for the most part of his career. Could be looking at a title shot by the end of next year if he plays his cards right. I still feel he's a level above Fury, Chisora and Price. Lost another 6 klios since his last fight as well.

Hopefulyl hes got over the intial joys of capitalism and is going to buckle down and get something done. With him Price and a possibly renewed enthusiasm in Chisora maybe the future of the HW division is bright in this country.

Good sign hes getting the weight down

Friday's a very durable opponent , but it's a pity Perez couldn't put him away. Against bigger more dangerous opponent, Mike's going to have some serious problems.....

It's a decent win. And by all accounts he was dominant. Friday is no joke and is a decent trial horse for a relative greenhorn like Perez.

Perez is still nothing much to write home about though.

Price - Fury would be pure slapstick
Price - Chisora would be a demolition

Hard to say really. Price technically looks extremely good, a poor mans Wlad even, but I still can't quite rank him properly until he faces a genuine top 50 type. Beating McDermott wont mean anything to me. He should take a leaf out of Seth Mitchell's book. Smashing Timur to pieces was impressive and has put him right amongst the big boys.

I meant in the sense that if these guys do rise to the upper echelons of the weight division then most likely the big HW fights will happen in Britain.

I like Perez. Hope they dont rush him into a world title match up for a good while yet. He is a 10th round TKO waiting to happen against a klitschko.

No not British Isles by any shape or means :patsch

Perez is a very good boxer and hopefully he will box far more this year hopefully for Euro title and then 2013 fight for World, this way he'll build up a far bigger following :yep
