Did anybody here purchase this? It was $15 internet-only PPV.

Glass cannon & former all-time record-holder for most consecutive victories by KO1 to start a career, Tyrone "Young Gun" Brunson, is headlining, in with 10-0 prospect Ismael "Tito" Garcia. Mike "Yes Indeed" Reed, who just signed with Top Rank, is also matched tough in the co-main event with Aaron "La Joya" Herrera.

Tevin "American Idol" Farmer, a longtime fan-fave, is playing tetragonist in this melodrama @ 2300 Arena in Philly, and currently engaged in an 8-rounder with Orlando "Naval" Rizo, by far the easiest assignment of the A-side trio atop the bill, and especially soft a touch following a career-best run by Farmer with defeats of Daulis Prescott, Gamaliel Diaz, and Ivan Redkach. The high point of Rizo's campaign in the ring has been splitting a pair (with the loss by SD) with previously unbeaten Rene "Gemelo" Alvarado of Nicaragua, but that was all the way down at super bantam, with Farmer vs. Rizo scheduled for lightweight.

Follow along on Twitter for results live tweeted from ringside, unless somebody bought the GFL PPV and wants to provide a RBR here.

Reed is a genuine blue chip prospect, so I'm curious to hear about his performance versus a solid vet in Herrera. Farmer is ranked in two of the major organizations' top-10s, #6 in the WBC and #9 in the IBF. Brunson's fifteen minutes of fame in the sport have long since come and gone, but if Garcia blows him out quickly he might be a person of interest going forward...

IMO, they should have ordered it thus: Reed vs. Herrera in the main event slot, with Farmer in the co-feature (preferably with a better opponent than Rizo, but meh) and then Brunson vs. Garcia for chief undercard support.

Farmer docked a point for a low-blow in the fourth...

The much improved Farmer looks (in the face) kind of like a cross between Andre Berto, the rapper Nas, and the actor Bill Duke.

    Yes. I'm happy with that.

    Official cards:
    77-73
    78-72
    78-72

    UD for Tevin Farmer.

So basically a point from one judge's card shy of a shutout, if not for the deductions, which didn't come even close to mattering.

There's a fan broadcasting live on Periscope from ringside:

Pretty much substantiates the complains I'm seeing on Twitter of Brunson & Garcia doing too much posing and not enough fighting. Not exactly a barn-burner from the looks of it. :drooling:

Lots of clinching. A few Jones-style (but not Jones-execution) leaping hooks from Brunson, easily caught on the backside of Garcia's forearm as he backpedals lazily away. Disappointing pace here, seems to have not changed a jot from a few rounds ago. Neither taking any real chances.

This fight got zero press outside of Philly.

I guess they changed it around, the main event is now Reed vs. Herrera, up next.

Yeah but tix are supposed to have sold well I guess. Brunson and Farmer are Philly natives and Reed is also East Coast and has fought at 2300 before.

Harold Lederman is apparently sitting ringside (so is Amir Mansour, and Bryant Jennings) and scored the co-main a draw.
