How do you think The Bodysnatcher would have dealt with today's 154/160 fighters of today?
I think he would have easily beaten all the fighters in those divisions such as Cotto and Canelo. The only guys who would trouble him would be Lara, Mayweather and GGG. Lara is a more of a watered down version of Kalambay/Graham so I don't think he would do much better than those guys. GGG would also be a tough fight but McCallum would figure him out eventually. I think Mayweather has the greatest chance in beating him and would be like a mix of Kalambay/Toney, 2 guys who gave him the most hell.

McCallum was truly an overlooked fighter who was always in the shadows of Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Duran. Thankfully he gets a lot of respect and praise nowadays. Great great fighter.

At 34 and 35 years old he drew and lost a close decision to James Toney. I think McCallum would easily be the best at 154 today and would top GGG at 160. The guy could flat out fight and just had more to his game than any fighter at those weights today. Maybe GGG will shine when he get some real fights, but for now I think MacCallum is tops over everyone. Jmo.

I agree. Thought he won the second toney fight to be fair.
To beat mccallum, you'll have to outpoint him because you won't knock him out. Had a great chin and as for them body punches. Wasn't called the body snatcher for nothing.

The idea any of the current 154lb crop could handle McCallum is laughable.

At 154, McCallum runs through everyone - I don't think that's too debateable.

At Middleweight, the only interesting fight is GGG. As much as I'm a huge fan of Golovkin, I just haven't seen enough where I could favour him in this one although I don't doubt he'd provide a stern test.
