Hunter was very durable and extremely elusive. It's a pretty interesting match up from a styles perspective actually. Hunter was a real cutie, mixing show boating with some damn slick defensive moves. I could see him befuddling Wilder for large portions of the fight actually but the smart choice would have to be Wilder landing something big and getting a stoppage (but again The Bounty Hunter was durable and damn slick) or using his significant height and reach advantage to land enough jabs to take a decison (see the 1st Stiverne or even the Arreola fights).
Wilder by KO. I loved watching Hunter. He was slick. But, he was never really a top 10 HW. He beat a faded Biggs and lost a close decision to another smallish and underpowered HW - Botha. Hunter was unorthidox and loved to drop his hands. I think Wilder would catch and hurt him. Then, finish him off.
Hunter would have fun in there for a while, but as mentioned on the evidence of his career, he is not good enough to last the whole twelve rounds against such a puncher.
I got Wilder by KO, probably around 6&7. Hunter has a real live chance though, I can't see Wilder taking that early barrage as well as Povetkin did, and Hunter could finish him too. Also, Hunter took huge shots of a massive puncher like Bakole sooooo who knows? Maybe he outboxes him all night and keeps him honest enough to not force anything whilst taking Wilder's occasional shots.
