im pretty sure this is a boxing website. Im sure all of us would like to help the towell family at this difficult time.

throwing BS there way is pretty rude.

im sure we we would like to help all families who have experienced tragedy however being from a boxing community we should concentrate on our own also.

without fighters we dont have a sport!

we should protect the families when in need.

The OP an absolute class act and hopefully people on this forum never forget this.

When disasters such as this young boxer dying strikes, the real men such as the OP rise to a level most of us can only aspire to.

Billy, I hope you are in the process of setting up a fund for Lance Ferguson-Prayogg, who also lost his life in similar circumstances. Granted, it is not as high profile as Towel, however I would argue equally as tragic.

 

Are you for real.. Stop trying to bring people down.. Mike was a professional boxer and the Professional boxing community has come together for him.. Well done Billy great amount for a great cause

How sad is it that someone would try to belittle someone else for raising money for the family of a young man taken away too soon in a tragedy?

I've always hated the perverse 'logic' of people who think that it's pointless to help in one case if you can't in them all. No single person has the resources to intervene in every tragedy that befalls humanity and to say 'Well if you can't help everyone then why bother?' is a ridiculous way to look at things and usually espoused by selfish ****s who just don't want to help ANYONE.

 

He is no friend of mine, neither do I know him, nor do I pretend that I knew or cared for him to gain applause and merit.

I will leave that privilege to you Mr Billy, as surely you do not need me to provide the first silver coin to show that you a man of your word

you are looking for us to donate to to a cause that is 27 months old? nobody has donated to it in 24 months, i really don't understand what you are getting at. if billy wants to use his time and effort to raise money for someone then let it be but stop trying to belittle someone trying to make a difference to someone else
