I'd swap Tucker for Ruddock, since Tyson was more dominant in that fight and stopped him, otherwise I agree. The first fight is a very underrated performance, since it doesn't fit with the narrative of Tyson being past his prime (despite being in prime age) at this point.
1. Michael Spinks (winning the Lineal Title). 2. Larry Holmes (defeating an aging, but still decent, ex Lineal Title Holder). 3. Tony Tucker (unifying the 3 major, non-Lineal, title belts). Edit: If I went to a #4 and #5, I would definitely list Frank Bruno both times. Those were great victories against a very good fighter. And Bruno's style was actually somewhat bad for Tyson, which makes Mike's 2 victories all the more impressive.
Well Berbick for the title. Larry Holmes and Biggs. I thought that was a great win. It showed his progression.
1. Michael Spinks Undefeted Spinks is retaring. In 91 seconds Mike becomes owner of everything; all belts and lineal championship. 2. Frank Bruno 2 Mike Tyson second career. Bruno is retaring. Mike Tyson becomes WBC champion, and he is back in bussines. 3. Tonny Tucker Unification fight of two undefeted champions. Mike Tyson becomes undesputed HW champion.
