Ok, Mike Tyson born in 1960, goes under Cus' wing in 1973 at age 13 and turns pro in 1978 at age 18. Knockout after knockouts enues until 1980 where a 20 year old D'Mato trianed Mike Tyson with a record of 32-0 29 KO's gets his title shot. Where does his career play out from there?
Might be something like this. Than again it might not. Going into his first tittle (WBC) fight Tyson was 27-0 (25) Feb 1980 Larry Holmes 32-0-0 (WBC) In their real fight a past his prime Holmes gave Tyson problems for three rounds before Tyson knocked him out in the fourth. This is aganst a prime Holmes. I see this fight being mostly the same. Holmes frustrates Tyson for sevenrounds before Tyson catches him in the eighth round. 28-0 (26). June 1980 Larry Holmes 32-1-0 (rematch) This time Tyson gets to Holmes early ko 2 29-0 (27) Oct 1980. Mike Weaver 22-9-0 (WBA) I don't see Weaver giving Tyson any trubble. Ko 1 30-0 (28). April 1981 Trevor Berbick 18-1-1. Tyson swarms Berbick and over welms him ko 2. 31-0 (29). June 1981 Leon Spinks 10-2-2 Another quick easy fight for Tyson Ko 2 32-0 (30). Oct 1981 James Tillis 20-0-0. In their real bout Tills lasted the whole 10 rounds. This fight Goes in to the late rounds before Tyson stops Tills in the 13th round. 33-0 (31). Feb 1982 James Tillis 20-1-1 (rematch). Tillis reward for almost lasting the whole fight with Tyson is he gets to face him again. This time the fight is much shoter Tyson ko 5. 34-0 (32). June 1982 Gerry Cooney 25-0-0. Coming off ko wins over Jimmy Young, Ron Lyle and Ken Norton, Cooney will aper to be a real chalange To Tyson. Cooney will have his moments but Tyson will have more. Tyson ko 4 35-0 (33). Nov 1982 Randall "Tex" Cobb 21-2-0. Cobb's chin holds up for eight rounds but not for nine. KO 9 36-0 (34). Mar 1983 Lucien Rodriguez 35-7-1. I know nothing about Rodriguez but I'm going to go a head and say that Tyson by ko 1. 37-0 (35) May 1983 Tim Witherspoon 15-0-0 Witherspoon will be a tougher oponent than expected but Tyson still wins by ko in round 6. 38-0 (36). Sept 1983 Michael Dokes 26-0-2. Dokes will be consedered to be a chalange going in bu won't be much of one. Tyson ko 5 39-0 (37). March 1984 Greg Page 23-1-0. Tyson shows some rust after a six month lay off but he's not too rusty Tyson ko 9 40-0 (38). Aug 1984 Pinklon Thomas 24-0-1. Real fight Tyson ko 6. Fake fight the same result Tyson ko 6 41-0 (39). Nov 1984 James "Bonecrusher" Smith 14-1-0 (IBF) The upstart IBF matches Tyson with Smith who proves to be tougher than expacted. Tyson wins a UD 13rounds to 2 on Two cards and 14-1 on the third. 42-0 (39). March 1985 David Bey 14-0-0 Tyson ko 2. 43-0 (40). May 1985 Carl Williams 16-0-0. Tyson ko 1. 44-0 (41). Nov 1985 Michael Spinks 27-0-0 Spinks is atempting to win the heveyweight championship as the LHW champion. Tyson ko 1 45-0 (42). Tyson is now being seroisly compaired to Ali, Marciano and Louis. Jan 1986 Tony Tubbs 21-0-0. Tyson ko 2. 46-0 (43). April 1986 Larry Holmes 43-1-0 (3) Holmes will have earned this by not losing sence his second loss to Tyson. The third fight result is no difrent than the first two. Holmes dose better this time than he did the last. Tyson ko 5 47-0 (44). July 1986 Frank Bruno 28-1-0. Tyson domonates ko 4. 48-0 (45) Dec 1986 James "Bonecrusher" Smith 22-2-0 (rematch). Tyson ties Marciano with a 10th round ko. 49-0 (46). May 1987 James Buster Douglas 23-3-1. Tyson would do a lot better in this match up than he did in their real fight. Tyson ko 6 50-0 (47). Aug 1987 Tony Tucker 35-0-0. UD. 10-2, 11-1, 9-3. 51-0 (47). Oct 1987 Tyrell Biggs 15-0-0 ko 7 52-0 (48). Mike Tyson with a record of 52-0 (48) retires he is consedered to be the best HW of all time. Nov 1991 Evander Holyfield 26-0-0. Tyson comes out of retirement and a 4 year lay off. Tyson stil has his power but looks beatable for the first time. Tyson SD 7-5 twice 5-7 53-0 (48). June 1992 Evander Holyfield 26-1-0 (rematch). With the rust shaken off Tyson and Holyfield meat a second time. Holyfield's "hart" is his undoing as he takes too many punches. Tyson ko 9 54-0 (49) Nov 1992 Riddick Bowe 31-0-0 . Bowe is able to score from the outside and tie Tyson up on the inside. Tyson is able to score when Bowe decides to mix it up on the inside but so is Bowe. Bowe UD 9-3, 8-4, 8-4 54-1 (49) May 1993 Lennox Lewis 22-0-0. This is for a shot at Bowe. Tyson ko 5. Lewis at this point is still devloping. Nov 1993 Riddick Bowe 33-0-0 (rematch). The same as the first with Bowe by ko 11. 54-2 (49). Tyson retires again and finishes at 54-2 (49). I submit this only as a posibility and not as a matter of fact:rasta :bbb :smoke
Depends when he goes off the rails, he beats prime Holmes though in his shot, mayube not at 20, maybe that would happen at 22, they rushed him at 20 because the titlists were weaker, they'd wait longer for a prime holmes. This make make Tyson less of a spoiled twathole
yeah ..he went off the rails in a buttoned down late 80s early 90s ... how far off the rails does he go in the hedonistic late 70s early 80s
He beat Weaver, loses to Holmes, ko's Coetzee, Tate, and Cooney, and Page and Dokes a tossup, depending on their condition.
I don't know, Tyson was a headcase regardless. He got into trouble when he was with Cus as an amateur, but it was often covered up. I'm thinking D'Amato and Jacobs would've probably prolonged his success, but ultimately his demons would've taken over, to an extent.
