Going with Tyson via UD or mid to late stoppage. If Ali's game plan is to lay on the ropes, he doesn't go more than 6 rounds. Prime Ali would beat him.

The rope-a-dope wasn´t just a "lay on the ropes", Ali maneuvered pretty well, which also was because Foreman wasn´t the quickest and calm fellow in boxing.
But I´d also don´t like the picture of Tyson hammering Ribalta on the ropes and 74 Ali fighting like that for too long.
The main question should be: "How is the fight developing for Tyson after round 8?" Plus that we didn´t saw Tyson fight after 12 rounds in general.
In the ten rounder of Mitch Green, the young MT avaraged a 46 punches in ten rounds, but threw a little less against Tucker in a total of 12 rounds.
If this is a 12 rounder, I don´t see light punching Ali winning this and lead to a Tyson decision. If its a 15 rounder, we really have no idea. But I don´t see Tyson stopping the durable high IQ boxing Ali.
