12 rounds. Mike Tyson, very much past prime, January 29th, 2000 vs. Dillian Whyte (the best version of) In the UK, Whyte's backyard. Who wins?
Whyte, unless Tyson lands a lucky shot. Even washed up, he was dangerous and capable of ending a fight with a lucky shot.
I can't see Whyte winning. Tyson was washed up but still had enough left in 2000 to beat Francis, Savarese and Golota in about 4 rounds total.
Even this washed version of Tyson is too much for Whyte. Francis was around Whyte's level (Whyte maybe a bit better) & he got washed. Whyte goes to sleep in under 5.
Whyte was taken out by a forty year old Povetkin. Tyson has a little more speed even in the year 2000 and power is the last thing to go. Mike lands and sends Whyte into the shadow realm after a few rounds. Whyte is simply too vulnerable to the uppercut which Tyson threw well.
Tyson by early KO. If Whyte survives early rounds, his chances will be much better. Whyte was KO'd twice by uppercuts (cold). Rivas also dropped him with uppercut. And Tyson, even 2000 version, still had an uppercut good enough to put Whyte to sleep.
