Tyson would win this fight by knockout, if he had the motivation of fighting for the LINEAL HW champion.

"You're not a REAL champion, if you don't beat David Tua".
    The whole world

Don't forget that Larry Holmes was knocked out for the only time in his career in 1988 (Shavers, Mercer and others).

1988 (ONLY 1988) Mike Tyson is a H2H T-Rex (with the MOTIVATION factor of course).

#1- I simply cannot see this fight going the distance: Tyson 50-6-2 with 44 ko's ______Tua 55-5-2 with 43 ko's
#2- Tyson is 5'10 with a 71 inch reach____Tua is 5"10 with a 70 inch reach. Tua out weighs Tyson by around 20 pounds.
#3- If Tyson takes monster shots from Tua he's getting knocked out.
#4- Common opponent, Lennox Lewis won a wide UD over Tua,, Lewis ko'ed Tyson in 8.
__ This fight is absolutely not a given for Tyson, I've seen Tua take Monster shots and keep going, Tyson was
___ko'ed by Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis..nobody came close to getting Tua outta there.

Tyson fairly easily. He had a good chin and cardio and was a much better boxer. 96 Tyson vs Tua is a more interesting fight.

Sorry but what does Tyson from the fight with Lewis have to do with Tyson from the fight with Spinks? read the title of the post carefully.

At first glance, the fight seems dangerous, but Tyson would handle it with ease, the best version of Tua is not even close to the best version of Tyson...

In which fight did you notice that there was something wrong with Tyson's chin?

I like Tyson to win by points. While he was much better than Tua, I’ll give Tua the benefit of the doubt that he sees the final round. He did survive some pretty big hitters without ever being stopped after all

Yup this fight would be dangerous for Tyson..... if it was ESB Tua.

The Tua who actually existed who beat all of one top ten contender in his entire career doesn't fair to well.

I think that most will find that when fighting bigger guys (I'm not calling Tua fat, but there was a lot more than just muscle to him), they really can't cope with shots to the body. It's the first thing I go for when I'm sparring someone like that.
