Just some dope insight that I never heard / saw before.

    Tyson makes no excuses.
Lost to a hungrier guy who was just better than him that night.
    It supports your statement.

    My thoughts on the fight:

I thought Mike's ringwalk was a touch of nostalgia, the walk he performed many times in his prime 30 to 40 years ago. He was focused, intense, concentration was there: he was probably reminiscing about the old days, how a night like tonight he already performed this walk many many times before. He was decked out in all black, a towel with a hole punched in it, black trunks, black shoes with no socks and haunting hip hop music, vintage Mike. I give him props for walking in there at almost 60 years. The courage and conditioning to go 8 2 minute rounds at his age! The great Roy Jones Jr said he didn't like the way Tyson's legs looked in round one or two, but LOOK at the heart he displayed!!! A subpar performance that probably a 40 year old could not do. Most boxers are washed up in their late 30s to early 40s. Sometimes the oldtimers: foreman, Hopkins, defy the odds. But you can't beat father time. Mike was Mike. I thought the ringwalk was good enough warranting it was a free fight. The only thing missing was 2pacs ambitions as a rider!!! Real recognize real. For those saluting Tyson's efforts know what's up, go team Tyson!!!

Douglas beating Tyson was a perfect storm of Tyson not taking the fight seriously, Tyson having a bad corner, and Douglas being motivated by the death of his mother. It shouldn't really be held against Tyson.

    I thought so at 1st,
But Tyson gives credit to buster says he didn’t train for a lot of fights , including the same guys who beat Buster- Tyson knocked them all out .
But he couldn’t do that vs Buster.
He was just better then him that night.
Respect to Tyson for saying that.

It's funny, how Buster was motivated by his mother's death, but if Tyson lost someone close in the build up to Buster fight, it would be taken as another excuse to why he lost.

On top of that, Douglas had to lose 50 lbs during the preparations, he and his whole family was very sick in the week of the fight and Buster himself was fighting on antibiotics.

Any other excuses tonight Ro... I mean, Mike's fanobys?
