If Charles Barkley can have success and keep his job at TNT through personal drama, why can't HBO or Showtime pick him up. Mike has made tons of money for both networks and I think his analyst style is similair to Charle's and better than Lenox's.

Because with all due respect to Iron Mike, he sounds like a girl with a speech impediment.:D

Mike knows his **** though, He studied all the great fighters while with Cus D'Mato and probably could add some insight, and if they let Roy Jones Jr do it then there's no reason why Mike Tyson couldn't get the gig.

Exactly. The only other fighter I would also consider is Chris Byrd. Mike knows about boxers now and always knew his boxing history. If Mike dosent get a tv gig he should teach boxing history at local colleges LOL.

Mike cant keep a schedule at this point of his life. I doubt he'd show up in time.

It's way too much of a risk putting Mike Tyson on a live TV show, this is the man who wanted to eat Lennox's kids for god's sake, have you forgotten how bat**** crazy Mike is?

TV is too safe. Mike would be very entertaining, and he knows what he's talking about. Plus, can you imagine Kellerman disagreeing with him, like he does with Lewis? lol. Tyson would chase his chicken-s&*t ass out of the arena .

Tyson is a boxing connoisseur without a doubt. IF he could manage to hold it together I think he'd do a great job with his vast knowledge of the sport. Mike's got a terrible voice for the business and he's not the brightest but he couldn't be worse than Lewis who just states the obvious in a boring tone or Lederman who peaks at the wrong part of EVERY word or even Merchant who now takes 10 seconds to mutter each individual word.
