tyson would be a awesome analyst....and its cable..you can get away with ..an occasional slip on words...... in fact ..it would help ..gettin people tuned into boxing aswell.... since hes probably the most well known ...world wide..that can be an analyst... id watch..for sure..becuase ..the way he breaks down stuff...is like when he was in his prime.....as a fighter...his mind still works...at a fighters pace..he might not have the physical attributes he once had..but the knowledge is priceless.. hopefully one day.....we will see this....
I would love to get Tyson insight on some of these fights, I mean the man may have a weird sounding voice, but he knows his game! I say give the man a shot and let's see him go.
I meant "you" in general not you in particular bro sorry for the confusion.:yep But yes Mike is a man of MANY faces.
actually even though he's got a ton of issues, there's a smart guy in there. his wires are crossed for whatever reason.
Tyson did the famous Simon Brown/Pettway fight. You can catch the wrap up here, but the whole fight can be found (in segments on YouTube). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRNw2l49alE&feature=related and for fun, here's the knockout round (5:20 mark). Still vicious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMSU8f9qIgg&feature=related
He seemed to enjoy doing the Pettway-Brown commentary. Got excited a few times. Shame he never did it after that.
Mike could be great at it. All he needs to do is express an interest. He would be a big draw as color guy.
I thought the same thing. I really liked Shannon's commentary. He's a pretty colorful guy who's not afraid to poke fun at himself. One of the commentators made a joke about his weight and he took it and ran with it. Totally cool guy and knows his boxing.
Definitely. I was thrilled for him when he won his title a couple years back. It's hard not to like him.
