Former boxer Mike Tyson is shopping a book around town. An autobiography he wrote while in jail.

He's apparently so worried about parts of the book leaking that he's only given his rough draft to five publishers for consideration.

The notorious ear biter told one of the publishers that he would write every night while incarcerated.

"Me and my cellmate would read to each other at night," said Mike to the editor. "One night I would read out loud to him, the next night he would read out loud to me. And we would do that back and forth until the book was completed."

Are U looking forward to the book?

We want to know what was going through his head during the Hollyfield ear attack!

If Mike writes a genuine, honest, complete bio., and gets a really good ghostwriter, it would be huge, unmissable.

Maybe help him turn the corner.

What a fiasco that ear biting was. I recall how that was all over the news.

I would read it. Tyson is not only one of the most interesting boxers, but one of the most interesting PEOPLE, STORIES, of our time period, maybe history. Think where he came from, of how popular he was, how well known, how rich, and his fall from grace, and just the ****ing way his mind works.... The world is captivated by Tyson, and will be until the day he dies, and then he'll be immortalized even further.

It wasn't good and there's no good way to spin it.

But Evander (the sly old dog) was cheatin' every chance he got too, mainly with his head and elbows.

And the ref didn't do anything with it in either Tyson fight.

And others who have fought Evander have claimed the same thing.

Still, that little snack was a little over the top.

    Mike was always interesting !

Tyson's whole persona was based on fear and intimidation. As Buster Douglas did before him, Evander gave no attention to this and became the bully in their first fight manhandling Tyson. What do you do when as the bully no one fears you any longer? No one is intimidated? You act as if you are out of your mind crazy, doing things only a person who was crazy and not concerned with consequences would do like biting an ear off or (as with Lennox Lewis) attacking and biting a leg.
