I haven't taken a look at any of those records in a while. I remember though Rosenbloom's record being packed with huge wins, but not Slattery. I never remember being impressed with his record. But maybe I'm wrong there. What does that mean, to be a Joe Brown? I would think that was a complement.

I don’t think too highly of Brown, although he certainly made the most of what he had. Peaked at exactly the right time. I just saw it as a weak era that he somewhat lucked into through no fault of his own.

As for Slattery, he won his 7 fight series with Rosenbloom 4-3 (whereas Lewis lost his 5 fight series 3-2), and beat Jack Delaney twice, Young Stribling, and Frankie Schoell. That’s more impressive than Lewis’s resume to me.

Maybe you should edit the article to be more accurate Vesti, as I know you have all the sources.

Much more familiar names, and better imo. Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Michael Spinks, Harold Johnson, Jimmy Bivins, Billy Conn, probably Fitzsimmons. Idk remember if Bob Foster was on there or not. He should be.

Editing Wikipedia is quite a lot of work. I want to redo the Jack Broughton article and do one on Jack Slack at some point, but those would both be pretty major tasks.

The Wiki on Molyneaux isn't too bad from what I recall, and does actually talk about how a lot of the stories aren't really backed up, I was mostly responding to the video there.
