Briggs: collapsed aftermath and spent all his purse paying hospital bills

Chisora: 40yo one armed Vitali lol

both above fighters known for having cast iron chins unlike Tyson's bums, i should add.

    Chris Byrd: career threatening injury

    Kevin Johnson: runaway *****

And any of these guys >>> the aforementioned absolute bums that Tyson couldn't KO

That's fair enough, but there must be a point where the mechanics of fighting an even taller guy will take some power off of headshots. Vitali is a few inches taller than the tall guys Tyson took out, and he isn't going to stand right in front of Tyson either- so it's going to be a challenge to get close enough to connect meaningfully to the body

Having said that, if anybody can execute that gameplan- Tyson can. I feel he'd have to have some success in the opening rounds or Vitali will demoralise him and force him into deeper waters than he's shown he can cope with before. It's hard to say how two very unique fighters will match up. One thing is for sure, it would be ****ing fantastic to watch

In the case of Briggs, Chisora and Johnson it was a past prime Vitali

You're the standard by which all Klitschko fans should be judged. :deal

Which is a dig at myself really considering Vitali has been my favorite 'current fighter' since he opted to use his WBC emeritus status.

Prime Tyson wouldn't be going 'life and death' with an old overweight Lennox Lewis. Tyson would have gotten him out of there.

For me, Tyson in his prime would beat Vitali and probably on points. Tyson was often relentless going forward and Vitali's style of fighting wouldn't handle that.

While, Vitali is obviously the taller, bigger man he would find it very difficult fighting an opponent that short. Tyson was used to fighting taller opposition as he did for most of his career.

    Be a Great fight.

Why do you like getting owned ? I really doubt you are from Finland but nice try anyway.

Let's see - Tyson vs. tall people...

He couldn't knock out Green, Smith nor Tucker who all are not on Vitali's level. So there's a very good chance this fight goes the distance. If Vitali manages to keep him at bay, he might win a close decision.

Those 3 guys were all hanging on for dear life most of the fight. 'Bonecrusher' became 'Bonehugger' in the media. Tucker did well for a few rounds and is an underrated fighter, he beat Buster Douglas and did 12 rounds with Lennox Lewis.

I couldn't see Vitali knocking out any of those guys either.

I'm having difficulty understanding why Tyson KOing or not KOing opponents is a prerequisite for him to be successful in a H2H. Ok, he couldnt KO Smith. He won all 12 rounds, outlanded him by the hundreds on 60% connect rate and took an utterly melodramatic UD.

this is why I think the Klitchko's have an unfair advantage fighting the old heavyweight size. They are superheavyweights, but who would be their size to fight? Still, a young Mike would love to work the body, but it would be tough. Those Klitchko's are big.
