But he gets **** all credit for it. He lost to Holy because the man is in his element when you attack him.

He got stick for fighting McNeeley. Why? He had being out for 3 ****ing years. Do any of you understand how hard it is to come back and get anywhere near the top level after being out that long? He deserved to fight a bum after that long out.

I don't think you do understand.

Tyson is pissed himself about this, and Bruno was WBC champ and no bum.

Because everyone stupidly thought he was indestructible he was **** when he came back.

    Not so.

    Not so.

That is hardly the point though.

Obviously he was not as good after being out for so long!

People think he is some sort of God!

i know evander was a tough opponent the repeated headbutting didnt help but for him to demolish bruno the way he did was impressive nobody was stoping him from getting that title then he lost interest again

Tyson was basically going on pure physical ability by the time he got out of jail. It goes to show how physically gifted the guy was, even if he was no where near his best.

For a fighter to excell with Tyson's style, you have to be aggressive and want to hurt your man. Your heart has to be in the game 100%. If you're heart is not in it, he doesn't have the luxury of staying outside and winning with his jab.

i don't understand why he stopped bobbing and weaving and tried to ko everyone in a few rounds, where did his movement go?
You can always one shot guys like he fought mcneelie but top level guys like holy and lennox required a difference approach.

Tis ironic that Holyfield's alleged dirty tactics should indirectly exploit a flaw in Mike Tyson's arsenal, that he was not mentally strong enough to suck it up when things went against him, he was a great on top fighter though, he was great when he was winning.

Its like they always say, the truth will find you in the ring, no matter what your flaw, it will be exposed in that squared circle sooner or later

What pissed most people is the way his opponents fought him - SCARED :yikes

Not Tyson's fault but then you can understand why people do not think that he was tested thoroughly in his comeback fight. And what what made this worse was that he lost to the very first guy (in his comeback) who stood against him - Holyfield.

People are missing the god damn point.

I don't care is fragile mickey's "heart" was not in it or if some hooker shouted at him.

The point is he came back well given that he was out for 3 years.

So what if he lost to Holy?

    Scaring people is a technique.

    He was excellent at it.

Besides, what were they supposed to do? Charge him?

"They all have a plan until they get hit"

With a few exceptions, pro's do not get scared. Everyone gets nervous but not truly scared.

    Right.

And he still got one of the major titles back.

    That is ****ing amazing.

Maybe not to your average ESB poster, but I am talking about real life.

It does not matter that he was not "tested" (beaten up before winning).

He came back very, very strong.

    That is my point.

What do people expect? An unbeatable fighter?

    Get real.
