Those ******s saying that Tyson is a joke got something up their asses Tyson is the truth, when he says stuff everyone should listen, the guy has a PHD in life
i would insult you back but that would be childish...and the insult was pointless anyway...and if you dont beleive im from bk then thats your problem....i live in bed stuy..on lewis and hart.....across from roosevelt projects:hi:
Wait a minte, Holmes is not a top 3 all-time heavyweight, neither is Lewis. Furthermore, Larry Holmes was washed up when Tyson fought him(Tyson even admitted such after the fight). Lastly, Tyson ducked Lewis in the mid 90's and when he finally did fight him, he was pummeled.
A 40 year old Holmes. And got his ass beat by Holyfield and Lewis. What a record. Just recently Floyd beat De La Hoya, hmmm that might be a win over an ATG, would you agree?
You didnt say what shape the atg had to be in or else you wouldnt have listed Larry ****in Holmes who was petitioning for retirement benefits when he fought Tyson. He is an ATG point blank who just took the junior welter from Mayorga.
I'm not even arguing that point. Although to be fair, fighting someone who is considered in the top 10 all time in a division, has a lot to do with coming around at the right time. Back to my point about Tyson vs. and Lewis and Holmes. You're giving Tyson credit for beating a washed up Holmes who was a shell of himself like that's supposed to be some sort of accomplishment,. You're also giving Tyson credit for taking $20 million or so to get his ass whipped at a time when he was desparate for money. He also did so against a guy he had ducked for years.
Now you're just being ridiculous. Go watch that Tyson vs. Holmes fight. Afterwards Tyson says, and I'm paraphrasing here, "this clearly wasn't the real Larry Holmes in there". Everyone knew Holmes was past it, I don't even know why you're trying to argue. What's even worse is that you clearly just did a boxrec search, and based your argument about Holmes not being past it on that. As far as your last statement goes, who has Floyd fought coming off consecutive losses?
