    19 year old Tyson?
You mean the best one, months before becoming champion of the world?

Truthfully most of those guys would be quick one round KOs

This could just as easily be Brian London, Cooper, Folley, past prime Cleveland Williams etc

A bunch of them would definitely go in the first.

If you think he looked invincible in the 80s, he'd look like a grizzly bear in a salmon feeding frenzy in the 60s.

Tyson did not become champion until he beat Spinks. If we count paper titles Tysons early paper title wins cannot be compared to say Ali who beat the true champion when he koed Liston in their first encounter.

So in your eyes, Patterson remains the youngest heavyweight champion ever?

Liston retired in his corner. It was the same as James Toney "KO" of Evander Holyfield.

Had Tyson been in the ring with Liston that day in February, 1964 heres what would likely have happened

Ali beat Liston but it was a paper KO.

Untrue. Spinks beat Holmes. Holmes was the true worlds hwt champion. Spinks then became the new worlds hwt champion. Berbick beat another contender to gain his paper title. Neither was ever champion. Tyson beat Spinks which made him the new worlds champion.

The question is how do you value a championship when there are multiple contenders calling themselves champion? How do you value that championship when other past champions had only one pathway to that championship. and won that title from the true champion? How do you value paper champions when the true champion exists among them? Does a paper championship have any real value?

When Louis koed Braddock he beat the true and only worlds champion.

When Ali koed Liston he beat the true and only worlds champion.

When Patterson koed Moore he beat the leading contender after Marciano retired. Thus carrying on the worlds hwt championship tradition.

Berbick had no claim to any championship. Holmes was the true and only worlds hwt champion. Period. Once Spinks beat Holmes he then became the true and only worlds champion. He remained worlds hwt champion until Tyson beat him. Tyson then became the new and true champion.

I do think they should go back to 1 title and also abolish these superfluous weight classes. Do we really nedd a super super light cruiser middlweight class?? Go back to 8 weight classes with the addition of cruiserweight and 1 champion per weight class. Spinks was recognized by Ring Magazine and Boxing Illustrated as the true heavyweight champion.

I'm not 100% sure but I think other boxing publications at the time like World Boxing and KO recognised Tyson as the undisputed heavyweight champion when he beat Tucker to unifie all 3 belts.

What do you mean? I appreciate older fighters and their contributions. But at some point we have to be realistic. And Bonavena giving a young Tyson a tough fight is not realistic
