The questions that were asked of Tyson in that interview that mike felt were annoying him were OLD news. Years old...nobody would learn anything new from news that is years old. So the questions were IMO unnecessary. They served no real good. That said, I do think Tyson clearly isnt a fight fan - he seems rather ignorant and admits openly. There's a man thats lost his passion for the game. If he ever does come back then it will be purely for the $$$ and everyone should know this. Why has he reconciled with King Don?? Can only be one thing...$$$!!! He probs still thinks the same of King but puts this to one side to get those $$$ that Kings offering him for comentary. I seriously doubt he genuinley likes Don King.

I thought Mike was incredibly articulate, patient and candid. He did grow irritated because he's an experienced interviewee and he could see the tactical direction Murnaghan was taking.

Still had a tingle when he got irked, and I was never a Tyson fan.

    No electricity like Tyson electricity

you're talking bull**** the guy was trying to twist things and trying to trick Mike into saying things,

questions like "So you accept that you did the crime and done the time"

I understand about trying to ask question that people want to know about but he was clearly trying to just make headlines and was disrespectful.

Get out of here with that trash. Mike has apologized for ear biting and done his time for the **** charge(I still think it was bogus). He was nothing but amiable in that interview and the interviewer tried to push in questions beyond the limit of common decency, on a two-bit sports show no less.

What a ****ing idiot... how poor did that interviewer act.? Mike has turned a major part of his life around, lost his dear daughter less than a year ago, and he is asked about a comment made in 1986...23 years ago.....

I say mike handled this more than well....considering just his whole life how his every move was scrutinized and the fact that he just lost his little girl.....HE HANDLED HIMSELF VERY WELL!

This wasn't a sports show guys...2 bit or otherwise. It was a news show. People have beeing going off on the interviewer for not knowing what he is talking about, but think its ok to get the facts of the matter wrong themselves. The tragic death of Mike's little girl was newsworthy. therefore he was asked about it.

Sugarsean, You write ""So you accept that you did the crime and done the time" but in writing that totally and deliberately misses the inflection. He asked it as a question. Mike responded. No controversy.

The world outside boxing views Tyson in exactly the way Philby described. Like it or not. This was his opportunity to amend that view and like igotJUIC3 stated, he did that pretty well.

These questions were straight down the line and Mike did well. I think a few people are being a little precious here without any good reason. Murnaghan was not trying to make a name for himself, he was conducting an interview as he would with anybody else. The media hysteria about Mikes reaction to the question is what misrepresents the entire situation and got a few guys on here all steamed over what in actual fact was a good line of questioning.

The interviewer was doing his job and Tyson handled it well. No drama. Let's be honest, this isn't a boxing programme it's a mainstream news show. Most people watching only know Mike Tyson as the big bad wolf of boxing so if the interviewer skirted round his past he wouldn't have been doing his job.

Tyson also said recently he has no regrets about his past, so what's the problem? He's a convicted ****** who's resorted to violence on more than one occasion outside the ring. If he can't handle a few probing questions then don't go on the show and don't get free publicity for your speaking tour.

Tyson has good reason to not like the media. They did not treat him very well in the past.
