Evening chaps, A friend of mine is a presenter on Beacon Radio in the West Midlands (afternoon slot - 4pm til 7pm) and somehow has the opportunity to interview Mike Tyson for his show this Monday! Not sure when it will be on ai yet but thought I'd see if I could generate some interesting questions to ask Tyson for him. He's not a boxing fan and I guess the listeners to his show won't be as in to boxing as some of us, so general / non-specialist questions will probably work best. If you've got any thoughts, would love to hear them and I'll pass it on. Cheers fellas
I saw some of his more recent interviews and he made it clear that he doesnt really keep up to date with the current crop of fighters......
Ask him this, please: "We know you have stated that you are not interested in being a trainer but what if someone like you comes along, with the same determination and passion and asks you to teach him the peak-a-boo style, would you do it?"
Get one of those punch power readers you see in nightclubs and see if he can destroy it/cause it to malfunction with one punch. I reckon he can. Have a 'Mike Tyson Playlist' where he plays his top 5 all time favourite love songs. Not being boxing specific I have no idea what I would ask other than the obvious.
I was going to say, ask him generally who he thinks are the best trainers in the game, taking Roach out of the equation. What's his views on Patterson then?
Ask him if he plans on turning up to any armed sieges like Gazza did. (I really can't think of anything better at this time atsch )
Ask him if he thinks any of his losses would have happened in his prime. Would be interested what he thinks he would do v Lewis.
