Bearing in mind their life stories it would be strange if Mike wouldn't sympathize with Evander. ppl tend to forget age limitations of same age guys.

After his fight with Etienne, Tyson said that fighters fight each other because they love each other and know that is how they take care of their families.

Mike made a lot of fighters best paydays.

 

Mike was greater than Foreman but he knew or his people knew Foreman had the wrong style for him. Why didn't he fight Foreman with this thought in mind. It would have been a huge fight. I think Foreman came back to fight Tyson, since he knew the style was made for him.

 

He also thanked Lewis profusely after their fight for the chance to earn. I still don't know who he can be referring to, it has to be about a broke fighter like RJJ or Holyfield.

Didnt he make this comment with regards t his figth with Ettiene? He knew he wasn't in the same league but the brother needed a pay and he didnt feel bad knocking him out cos he made him rich.

 

Boxers pretty much rely on one another for big paydays, if one boxer is a household name he might as hell help others by giving them a shot/chance. All big-names somehow relied on other big-names, past it or not, to be recognized publicly.
