Ok, I finally figured out the picture thing. So, my question is, do Mike Tyson and Larry Holmes really dislike each other? I remember when they fought Mike Tyson refused to shake Larry hand at the pre-fight press conference. Afterwards, Larry called Tyson an S.O.B. However, that was 1988 and here this past December they appear civil towards each other. Or do you think they have still have any animosity towards one another? Generally speaking they never liked each other. But since they're both combatants in the blood game I'm sure there's mutual respect. But I did hear somewhere that they would both sneer at each other when in the same room.
Tyson was very respectful of Holmes after their fight. He had a lot of respect for Holmes, but Holmes was always a **** talker and he talked a lot of **** before the fight which pissed Mike off. Tyson beat the crap out of poor Larry. Noone would do that to him again.
If I were to guess, I'm not sure that either particularly cares for the other's personality nor image. But we also have to understand that a lot has changed over the years.. These are no longer two rivaling professional fighters, but two middle aged mature men who are looking back on their boxing years and living totally different lives today.. I think there may be some mutual respect and certainly the ability to behave in a civil fashion when seen together in public.
