I would go Tyson, Tua, Lewis.

Tyson had great power in both hands, with a left just as good as Tua's and a better right. He KO'd guys with good chins like Holmes, Berbick, Thomas and Spinks all of who had not been KO'd before tyson.

In terms of who can produce more force in a single punch, I have always guessed that Tua is above Tyson.

And I have always had Lewis above Tyson, in that same regard.

Look what Tyson did to Savarese with a glancing blow off the top of his head. can you imagine if that landed on his temple?

    1)Tua
    2)Tyson
    3)Lewis

Most of you already nailed it. Tyson depended on speed, timing, accuracy and leverage for his shots to take full effect. Lewis also needed distance or other elements for his power shots. But for natural, explosive strength and power, it's Tua. I think his left hook is similar to getting clubbed by George Foreman. Tua knocked out a few people with his right, but he preferred his left hook.

I was surprised that none of you discussed another big punch that all three men share....the uppercut. I don't think I've seen Tua knock out anyone with an uppercut, but it certainly hurt and I've seen him use it to set up a left hook or right hand. I've seen Tyson drop many foes with his uppercut, especially when he threw a crushing right to the body then came up the middle with the uppercut. That's my favorite Mike Tyson combination.

As for Lewis, his uppercut was fierce, too. It was the punch that made Mike Tyson submit, and it was the punch that destroyed Michael Grant and hurt David Tua. When he hit Mike Tyson with that uppercut in the first round, you clearly hear the pop. You hear the crack when he whopped him with it in the second round, too.

All three men could deck you with a single shot from either hand, but Tua's slightly ahead of the other two if we're talking natural brute strength. The guy was born with that punching power and iron chin. (In his prime, at least. He's been showing signs of declining as of late.)

    1. David Tua
    2. Lennox Lewis
    3. Mike Tyson

I think Tua and Lewis have more pure power than Tyson did, but Mike was faster and more accurate than either of those two were, which led to more devastating knockouts.

For one shot power, Lewis was the best of the three.

Single shot, single punch Tua's hook.
Tyson the best two handed ...
Lewis had a terrific right hand ... as hard as Tyson ..
