Unfortunately unless he does alot of road work (never happen) he won't have the legs to compete. This has been his problem for years
Recent comment from Don King himself: It would have been a surprise (announcement) were it not for somebodys indiscreet comments, King said of a twitter report from a Tyson friend claiming he was reuniting with King for a possible Holyfield fight. We would have dropped the bomb that hes here but we got premature exposure so now here they come! The midnight ramblers and the four day walkers are all coming out. We were doing it a little differently but now everybody who ever had a contract with Mike will come out of the woodwork whether that contract has some validity or whether it has no truth but only consequences atsch source: http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxing-article/7798/return-tyson-don-king-hatching-plan-bring-back-man/
Never say never. I'll watch him although I don't want to see him be embarassed again (which is very likely)
"Mike Tyson Officially Back and his Opponent is" = I read some bull**** blog and chose to believe it.
Wholeheartedly agree. That was a weakness in his game and a major reason why he didn't get ko's versus the tall guys compared to fighting short guys. Plus, who's doing to be the trainer--McKinley? The legs were not good enough to provide angles and position himself in optimal punching range against a guy like McBride in his last fight. There are taller and bigger fighters around to test those skills if he wants to win a title. And there other's with better reflexes at this stage of the game. It'll be a tightrope walk for him to string together 3 or 4 victories in a row. It'd have to be top shelf matchmaking to pull it off. The problem is that a Tyson loss is most likely via ko and yet another rebuilding project.
thats very true but atleast it a resonably official boxing source. the guardian pronounced guru dead.
