Mike Tyson on why Teddy Atlas really pulled a gun on him

I always get the feeling Teddy is jealous of fighters. Don’t think he was a good boxer himself but tries to act all macho. I am not surprised Cus D’Amato preferred Mike to Teddy as Teddy is not likeable. As posterity has proven Cus did not just like Mike he loved him, adopted him and invested his own money into a pension for Tyson which Tyson got later many years after Cus had died.

 

Teddy might not be a very likeable person, but Tyson's gangster past and brushes with the law, as well as violent women agressions are well documented into Jose Torres book "Fire and fear".

Torres was a close friend of Mike and a world champion trained by d'Amato.

Two peas in a pod. Mike is on his meds, which is good. Atlas is just so self-absorbed he thinks he is some kind of boxing genius when, in fact, he probably has an IQ of about 100. God am I glad I don't have to listen to him anymore. Although, I have to say, Mark Kriegel has as big an ego as Atlas. Let's face it, there are a lot of blowhards in boxing.

So it's not because Teenage Mike grabbed Teddy Atlas' 11 year old nieces buttocks? And the reason Teddy had to quit fighting was because of back problems.

 

This so wacked, Teddy has deep suppressed issues. And lets get this straight who puts a gun to a guys head and dont shoot. Teddy should just count his blessings he is still alive and be done with it.

 

I think he did, but there were other reasons for him pulling the gun also...Mike Tyson is a master manipulator, he feels so genuinely sorry for himself that everyone else does too..Beating **** out of women for their handbags, but he was really nice when Cus took him under his wing ????Pmsl…..The fella was an animal from a very early age, and Cus treated him like he was extra special and turned a blind eye to his out the ring antics as long as he could continue with his pet project..Teddy was probably jealous but Tyson has admitted in the past to "MAYBE" touching her inappropriately

 

Teddy Atlas, that's who, and it worked. Tyson bolted with **** running down his leg

 

Teddy is luck to be alive. I stand by that.

 

Not from Tyson..He was out of order and had the fear of god put in to him, the street thug was tamed for what he done..Why Tyson not give him a slap or a beating ??? There's your answer. Bullys fear nutters

 

Yeah he proved that by pulling a gun on a 15 year old teenager. Tough guy. Teddy is what is referred to as a camera gangster. Like I said if you pull a gun from where I come from you better pull the trigger. You don’t know me or what I would do! The racial undertones in your post are to obvious as you speak of Mike’s grubby little digits .....etc.

 

From what I have researched he did not touch her.

 

Yeah, I mean it's not like Mike has any history of that kind of thing.
