Mike Tyson on why Teddy Atlas really pulled a gun on him

I believe Tyson already spoke on this in his Spike Lee "tell all" stand-up act Undisputed Truth. He said he had grabbed Atlas's niece buttocks while at school while he was horsing around, and when she got home from school she told Atlas, and that's why Atlas, not only pulled a gun on him, but fired a shot past the side of his head.

 

Ole Ted was the fastest gun in the Catskills they said.

 

He is such a damned compelling speaker. I know he hurt a lot of people, and I don't know what really happened with Desiree Washington, but you can't help but to have sympathy for him and hope that his soul has healed.

Rough paraphrase:

"Look at around you. I don't like a glamorous life. Nothing glamorous is every going to happen to me again. I take care of my kids...I pay my monthly bills...I pay my yearly bills. All that stuff that you are talking about is just the past."

He just knows how to talk and elicit sympathy in way that is not asking for it.

What about that statement is untrue, what sounds like soliciting sympathy. what I heard was a guy saying Im just a normal person I go to work, take care of my family and pay my bills.

now of course mike sounds like a baby when talking. but with the same voice he told guys he was going to destroy them. you cant draw what he is saying from how his voice sounds.

I don't even think that he is trying. I think that he is just a naturally compelling speaker and the sadness comes out in his voice.

Why don't you read what was written? I never said that that anything about the statement was untrue. Do you know what "compelling" means? And I specifically said that he does NOT seen like he is trying to elicit sympathy.
