Enough of this Tyson comeback ****. Yes, we know he's training regularly, has lost a lot of weight, but he's probably doing that because it occupies some of his time & now that he's lost a lot of weight, he probably actually enjoys the training!

However, the mentality that Tyson once had as a fighter, has been gone for a long time! He gave up against McBride, so the desire is NOT THERE!

Mike Tyson is my fav fighter of all time & he's the reason I first became interested in Boxing. I will remember him for the magnificent fighter he once was. If he were to make a comeback now, certain current fighters would be calling him out, who would have literally **** themselves if they had to fight a near peak Tyson!

A fighter can regain his will to win. Look at James Toney after the Thadzi and Griffin fights. Look at James Douglas determination after coming out of a diabetic coma. Tim Witherspoons comeback Foreman's etc,,etc.. Fighters can regain their hunger, but most times their skills are far gone. I agree Tyson did lose his desire to fight, but that doesnt mean he cant regain it. Theres something to fight for besides money if he wants to. He has a chance to eclipse George Foreman's mark of being the oldest heavyweight champion which would make him the oldest and the youngest. The division is not very deep, so Its conceiveable with the right promoter he could manuever himself into an easy title chance especially if King is promoting him. Look at what King setup for Tyson after prison. Bruno Seldon and Moorer.

I love these 'Tyson's coming back' threads. Let it go - the man isn't boxing again.

True, its kind of like the bigfoot legend. Its been going on since his retirement. He says no way hes coming back yet the rumors keep circulating. It is kind of funny.
