Who Wins Simply choose this because people were saying that the 64 version wins easily.

I don't think the Cassius Clay of 1963 was ready for prime 1988 Tyson. Clay would stay away for awhile but Tyson would have eventually gotten to him. Clay didn't have the survival skills he mastered as his career went along so I will go with Tyson KO 8.

1963 gets beat for sure. My prime Ali would be the Terrell or Ellis fights. He was still lightening fast but also bigger stronger and more experienced. That version stands a chance of staying away and surviving long enough that Tyson starts to run down late in fight and then as Ali would do he brings the right crosses over and over. Its probably a pick em.

It'd be more interesting if it was 85-86 Mike vs 1963 Ali. Even then Mike was much closer to his prime than Ali was at that time.

Why would you want to know the outcome of a prime killer versus a pre-prime great?

What can you hope to glean from the obvious answer here?

Ali could do it, Ali actually believed he was great, he knew he was great, Tyson was basically just being gaslit by Cus and it only held up for so long

Ali beat Liston only a couple months into 64, there's no reason he wouldn't have also whooped Liston towards the end of 63, and I don't think Tyson would get in his way to the top either
