Put Toney in it and winner of tourney should get shot of over 40 year old champion Vitali.

Toney, Holyfield, Golota, Bowe, Botha and Donald in elimination format.

Mike Tyson: Let’s do an over-40 tournament…but without Vitali Klitschko

By Przemek Garczarczyk
“Fighters over forty cannot compete with the best. Sure, they can compete with the OK-guys, but not the upper echelon of heavyweights,” says former heavyweight king Mike Tyson, one of the many boxing greats attending WBC convention in Las Vegas.

Many of the former champions or heavyweight contenders are coming back, still hoping for a championship fights. Not something you endorse?
Not at all. They can look good against an OK competition, some middle of the road guys, but not the upper echelon of heavyweight division. Klitschko, the other top guys. I just spoke with Evander Holyfield. He looks good, I have to give it to him, but I don’t believe he can beat the best. Times are different, we don’t have place in this new boxing world. It’s enough with this talk that ‘we will get the title.’ Enough!

Evander Holyfield is still fighting, Larry Donald and Andrew Golota are coming back – did you entertain this idea also?
No way. It’s not for me anymore, I would be afraid to fight. I’m different man now. For the others maybe an over-40 heavyweight tournament would be a good idea.

Like a “Masters” competition in some other sports?
Just like this. I even like the name. Just make them fight only eight rounds so they will be full of energy. I’m sure people will buy this. That the fight would be entertaining. I just want to make one exception – everybody over 40 is very welcome except Vitali Klitschko. He’s too good.

 Id watch a 'Masters' league in boxing....

They are making money, still enjoying a spotlight, and not getting destroyed by guys they shouldnt be fighting at their age. Id rather this then them getting humiliated and hurt by young champs.

Toney's already saying where do I sign.:D

9. Wouldn't mind Big George finally kicking the **** out of Larry Holmes.
But Foreman was good enough to compete with the young guys when he was 45 which is why he is top 5 HW of all time.

10. Yeah right. Vitali was 40 when he fought old Briggs and made a project out of it. Foreman was 48 when he fought prime Briggs.
