Exactly. It was as clear as day for those of us who lived during that time to see how the manipulation of the ratings was all to make the exchanging of the WBC and WBA titles easy pickings for Tyson. And people act as though he pulled off a Muhammad Ali type comeback by beating a beast of a champion.

 

CASUAL Clay was a True all time great and even a CASSIUS fan can see that

 

It's weird how Foreman wanted nothing to do with him.

 

The light heavyweight that Tyson best for the lineal heavyweight title was superior to the light heavyweight Frazier beat for his paper title.

 

Weird how no one wanted to pay any money to see that fight

 

Weird how Foreman had no issue fighting Crawford Grimsley.

 

Tyson beat Spinks for lineage. Frazier beat Ali for lineage. They both got their paper titled elsewhere

 

I have to agree that Foreman 2.0 was well aware of his limitations, especially when it came to defending his belt. When he was fighting for the belt he would fight anybody because he had nothing to lose. I can't blame him. He was getting up there but the boxing authorities were getting tired of his tactics.

 

Moorer lost the title almost a year before Tyson came back and fought McNeely. And king was keeping Tyson away from Lewis… not the other way around.
