Mike Tyson retires 37-0 before the Buster Douglas fight. What is his legacy

    He would have been considered unbeatable had he retired at 37-0. Noone would have ever believe hed have lost to those guys he did. Heck,I couldnt believe it for a long time. It took several losses before anyone thought they werent flukes. The way he took guys out overruled who he beat. Im not saying he WAS unbeatable, but thats what people would have believed. Thats the truth.

    It wouldn't have made sense for him to retire then he'd have had to die or something like that. If he did people would argue that he was the best ever.

    If Tyson retires pre-Douglas he'd be considered, to Quote Bret Hart "the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be." In that short snapshot of his early career, they might have been right.
