Mike Tyson asked who he sees as the top boxer of today: “The top fighter in the world has to be Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury, yes. He’s the biggest draw in boxing,” declared the former heavyweight champion of the world.

When this winter comes around everyone will understand why Tyson Fury, The Gypsy King is not the only the face of boxing but is boxing itself.

Don't know about the "Face of Boxing" but I can see Fury fighting Andy Ruiz for the "Waist of Boxing"

Fury is fighting Ruiz Jr as a stay busy fight

    That's the calibre of Fury.

AJ has a phycologist for his McDonalds nightmares.

Furys third biggest fight in how many fights
    After Klitschko and wilder
I'd put Ruiz on par with wilder at this point

If Fury takes Ruiz only as a stay-busy fight he does so at his own peril. I'm not a big Ruiz fan but he does have some quick mitts as well as some pop on his punches.

Ruiz has a very small window of punching range which he can operate in. Easy work for Fury. Ruiz is still a great fighter but it's the worst style match for him.

Fury is the most well-known boxer around these parts I would say, in the USA. Shame he doesn't have better fighters on his resume. At his age & by this point in his career he should've beaten Ruiz, Usyk, AJ, Ortiz, Parker, Povetkin, Joyce, Zhang, Klit rematch.....basically anyone & everyone considered the best of our time.

I believe he'd beat them all, but with that said, he hasn't. His full potential will never be reached.

At full potential, Fury could possibly be considered in the H2H matchups with some of the fringe ATGs (ATGs that just barely make the list), but would still probably lose to them.

People only rate how well Fury would do in head to head mythical matches based on about 3 fights where he was at his best. The reality is Fury is an up and down fighter who made hard work getting by many domestic and fringe level opposition. i'm not convinced he had it in him to go on a run picking off the best of the division. Team Fury must think similar looking at who they fought.

Fury is the face of McDonald's. Until he fights Usyk he cannot be taken anymore seriously than champs like Bowe, Douglas, or Baer who never fulfilled their full potential.

Sorry my friend, but great and Ruiz only belong in the same sentence if his appetite is being discussed
