Buster Douglas was a total bum. Nowhere near Chris Byrd or Corrie Sanders. Where do these idiots come up with this. Buster was a fatbody, no talent, hack. He was KO'ed in one round by fking Lou Saverese

Bit unfair that everyone is comparing the prime, almost mythological version of Tyson from his best period against the worst version of Wlad that we've seen in the past 9 years or so (vs. Povetkin). I think the best versions of both would have made for an interesting fight.

so how come none of tysons other opponents pre jail did the same?

all the evidence suggests its a one off and that you are wrong.

but of course you are stupid enough to pick the one tiny bit of conflicting information and call that the the norm, to suit your own agenda.

Tyson is overrated because he beat Holmes, Spinks but Vitali is great because he lost to Lewis and Byrd

When you watch Tyson/Douglas is clear to see he lost to a fighter on his A game with a great gameplan and who knew how to use every punch in the book. Douglas had skills you dont see today and anybody calling him a 'bum' obvioulsy never seen him fight with anybody else.

There was no point in any round where Purrity , Brewster and Sanders looked a world beater like Douglas did on the night. At no point did basic Sam Peter look like an unstoppable power house when he had Wlad on the floor and running for his life in survival mode.

Why do you keep bringing up Purrity? He had lost every round and Wlad just fell over from exhaustion. Purrity had nothing to do with it really. Have you even seen the fight?

Sanders is the only one in that group that took it to Klitschko and KOed him. Peter fought Wlad twice and won 3 total rounds.

You are all over the place with these posts they make little sense. :rofl:patsch

Yeah I saw it. Ive almost seen them all , inculding his amateur fights.

Wlad looked **** in against Purrity. Throwing useless uppercuts off target while throwing nothing but jabs and straights. No name Culb fighters were able to beat Purrity.

Robert Hilenious went done a better job on Peter than Wlad ever did.

If you want to talk about Wlad losing I can save you some time. All you have to post is:

Corrie Sanders Chinned Wlad Klitschko when they fought.

Bringing up Purrity who literally did nothing but a bad Tex Cobb imitation or Brewster who hit Wlad flush and couldn't put him down or Peter who lost twice is idiotic.

:rofl:patschHelenius fought the shop worn version of Peter who had taken punches in 3 fights against the Klitschko's. What he did is irrelevant Peter was done by then too many punches to his head by that point.

He was done in second Wlad fight as well. Point is a game Peter gave Wlad nightmares and if he had the stamina would of knocked him out.

Spot on, they held on for their lives. That was the way to survive the Tyson onslaught, because when tied up he would usually stop and wait for the ref. Thats not saying that holding him was a water proof defense against him. He was a complete animal coming in, with speed, power and timing. You can only hope to do it so many times without getting caught. Thats why i believe he would take out the Klitschkos. But no, he was not a mauling inside fighting heavyweight like Frazier.
