yap, could simply covered lots of his debt at least when Mike decided to return (forced by big debt situation) we all know it's not because he's actually wanted to proof that he's still the best. fighting another old/shot but big name fighter will certainly earn him millions.
it would be depend on his state of mind during the fight, in the fight against Mcbride his mind was clearly somewhere else and physically not ready for it just compare his physical shape to his fight against Lou Savarese
Nah. Botha is 250 and seemed to handle Mike's style pretty easily until he got caught. Someone like Etienne would be perfect for Mike. Just find three guys like that and Mike's back!
There is no-way to tell what his mindset was. Against McBride his mindset was somwhere else after the fight. Before it he was ready to go. Problem was McBride stood up to the punches and Mike had a 270lb guy wrestling with him. At his age he did not have the energy. With Saverese he caught him with the first punch but stated that he did not train and had to bury his best friend. He also stated that he considered not fighting.
He should fight his clone Cliff Couser in the Biodome while doing the Safety Dance for his ring entrance.
I find myself feeling more anger & annoyance rather than sympathy for a man that earned at least 300 million $ in his life.... what the **** was he buying in that time ? :huh Completely unacceptable.
This is not news. He is still in the hole with the IRS for over 100,000,000. That's worse than being broke.
I think an exhebition of some sort would be good. especially if it was against some other old fighter... (Holyfield)
His credits probably swoop in on everything he earns then. A couple of years ago Tyson travelled around the globe and got several endorsements which sounded lucrative. In Russia, he signed a deal to endorse a brand of Vodka over there. He also travelled to China and Brazil, among others, and seemed to get some sweet deals in those countries as well.
