Mike has to stay away from trouble, associate with professionals, lose weight, and come back to form. Conditioning is key. I'd love to see it.
whatever you think about mike, he knows that he can train a little bit and still easily beat C level fighters. he is not apparently financialy desperate, but he likes money and doesn't have access to much so i can definitely see him taking a couple of fights if the money is right. but i'm sure he has no intention to fight dangerous opposition.
Mike Tyson could make enough cash if he wanted to, with what faded skills he has left. 1. Hire a personal trainer, or a Mackie Shilstone to get his ass back into good shape, about 228 or so. So he at least LOOKS like the old Tyson. 2. We do a "Mike Tyson World Tour"....which is a series of Exhibition bouts, (4 rounds, no headgear, no t shirts, 10 oz. gloves) against local heavyweights in each state. This happens in the form of fighing at local Indian Casinos. Say Florida. You get a local heavyweight fighter from Florida, and put him in the main event of a local card, featuring local fighters, and you say, the Friday before the fights, have Mike Tyson do an open sparring session, and a press conference, weigh in, ect. (You charge attendance for all of this)....also, for about an hour, you have photo/autograph sessions with Mike, for 50 dollars a pop, a signed photo print out of you and the champ. 3. We have Mike autograph the gloves, trunks, and towel he wears into the ring, and maybe about 5 cheap "Title" belts, that you buy off of that website, and auction it all off, after the fights. He could do this 30 times and make some serious cash for minimal danger.
good....but isnt this excatly what he was supposed to do a couple of years back in 'the mike tyson world tour'...what happened to that?...remember he sparred an exhibition with cory sanders {was it cory sanders?...maybe i'm wrong, but wasn't he blind in one eye?} and then nothing...
cory t rex sanders...not the sniper. he was fat and lathergic but gave a pretty good acount of himself knocking corey down 2 times i think one very hard the other just a push down almost. i have no problems of him fighting exhibitions or being a carnival act. like butterbean was. fighting bums for pay and a bit of excercise. he is too fat now very heavy
Not a bad idea from Mike,he could make some very good money by fighting some "top 10 NZ-heavyweights".He still has a big name in Oceanie and the level of opposition he will meet guarantees spectacular early KO's. After several wins by brutal KO which the fans will enjoy he could meet David Tua.If only they would have met years ago,it would have been dynamite.
are you sure he would guarantee early knockouts... cause, even as an irishman, i rate...or did at the time he beat tyson...kevin mc bride very very lowly...i dont see any top 10 heavy from any countries ratings as being worse than mc bride... .
That was Sterling McPherson, who would probably **** up the planning of a birthday party at McDonalds for a group of 5 year olds.
