Definitely not, it's why I laughed. Liston would rather have died than call a man his '' girlfriend ''

This would probably be the thing that happens, but security and cops would come out of the wood work so it probably wouldn't last long

Tyson didnt look mentally all together in the ruddock bouts the way he shows almost no respect for ruddocks punches looks to me like a guy who does not care if he lives or dies. He mentions in his book that he was being given thorazine during that time, so who knows when i watch the way he acted in those fights i can actually imagine him raping a girl in that state of mind. He didnt seem to care about anything, especially the second fight.

But if mike wasnt medicated he wouldnt have said that to liston. "Street people" know exactly who they can say certain things to and what they can get away with. Ruddock was a guy who while big strong and hard hitting, must have given off some sort of mentally weak "vibe" that tyson picked up on. Wouldnt be the case with liston

A psychologist said that in his professional opinion, Ali's antics were to hide his fear of Liston. I read somewhere that the morning of the fight, Ali's blood pressure was taken and it was so high that the doctor almost recommended the fight be cancelled. They took it again a few hours later and it was normal.

I also read that Ali said that the one time he felt very concerned for his physical safety was the first time he fought Liston.

I don't think even Foreman in those days would relish the thought of meeting Liston in a dark alley.

Mike wasn't mentally weak. He was just human. With normal sensitivities to the pressures of the fight game.
I think at his core, he was more of an artist than a bully. The bullying tactics were acquired through learning about the psychology of old school fighters. His downfall is when that focus and commitment started to dwindle, and that bottled up warrior psychology began to rot into lazy fear mongering.

Having said that, he didn't have the mental makeup of Liston or Ali. Which is not taking away from him a bit.
When Tyson was focused and fully committed, he was a streamlined killer. I think the version that fought Holmes wouldn't have been intimidated by anyone besides Ali.

In the wild, 2 apex predators usually try to avoid each other. Say where the territories of grizzly bears and bengal tigers overlap, they generally won't fight each other because regardless of who wins, the other will take a lot of damage which they may even die from later on. One may even back down from the other if it's over something small and relatively insignificant. Liston wouldn't just want to pick a fight with Tyson just for the hell of it. If Tyson called Liston say a big, ugly bear, Liston would probably shrug his shoulders and might call Tyson a big ugly lizard or something.

But if Tyson or anyone else made a remark implying that Liston was any less than 100 percent man and 100 percent heterosexual, especially if done publicly in front of an audience, I think it's highly probable that Liston would respond with violence. I'd go so far as to say if he had a gun, he'd probably shoot Tyson for saying something like that.

Ali didn't insult Liston's masculinity and Liston could've just viewed him more as an annoying punk kid. Like Mr. Wilson viewed Dennis the Menance.
