I'm with you on this. Sanders would lay Douglas out like Holy did. If it went a few rounds, he might even be soundly outboxing Douglas.

Douglas won like half of the rounds before Tucker stopped him/he quit. Stop the bulls hit.

He didn't really give Vit hell, maybe for one round. He got beat up bad for most of the fight.

Sander's chin was very good actually. He got ktfo by Tubbs but was an anomally imo. He would get ktfo by Tyson though, no head movement, way too upright and stiff.

I was at the fight. There was a feeling in the first round throughout the arena that Sanders was on the verge of stopping Vitali. He gave him two or three bad scares in other rounds too, but they were more like isolated incidents than in the first.

There is no punchers chance here for Sanders, Tyson was no chinless Brit. Like most Tyson opponents, Sanders would have frozen from Tysons intimidation and would have gotten straight up slaughtered for it. People need to stop hallucinating, this is mismatch.

Corrie Sanders had a lucky day against Wlad, and was murdered. These somehow elevated him to some legendary status where people go as far to put his name vs Tyson. Sanders was a decent boxer but that's it, he mostly fought B and C grade boxers, and apart from Wlad, lost all fights against top opposition. I don't know how people imagine he could have the slighest chance against a nature's freak like Tyson.

And btw, he didn't "give both Klit's hell", he simply got destroyed by Vitali.

If he just got 'lucky' against Wlad then why didn't Wlad avenge the loss?

    He didn't get lucky.

He blasted Wlad out. Thats not luck.

sanders never got a shot at the title, never mind douglas.

apart from when the k bros cam along with their habit of picking oldbums to water the world title down to.

He drop the title from Wlad and decide to go against Vitali, thats why Klitschko not take a rematch. After that Sanders retire. And when he comeback there was talk about rematch but Sanders lose and that was the movie with him. Wlad could not fight him, he was way down in rankings.

that was not the reason why the reason why wlad didn't fight him is because he didn't want to fight him - if he wanted to he would have found a way easily.

wald was too scared about the prospect of geting destroyed in seconds by a near 40something bum twice over. once was a historical precedent that K bro set for a HW champ. to set it twice would be career suicide.

Ah another K hater. Wlad probably tells you that ? Klitschko say he want the rematch right after the match. Sanders simply drop the title and decide to go for other brother.
If Klitschko was not taking the rematch with Brewster and was not destroying him, you probably would say that he was scared of him and he could never/ever beat him.
Klitschko haters are idi*** as hell.
But that just show how good he is and how scared K haters are.

Sanders, at his best would have knocked Tyson out. Lewis admitted that he ducked Sanders and so did many others. Sanders had naturan talent, could hit like a mule kicks, has very fast hands and was always dangerous early, but whenever he was in shape he was the best. When Sanders fought Vlad, he had been training for months, he was in the best shape of his life. Sanders was training for a fight with Valouv in South Africa. Vlad did not spar, did not train like he should have, came into the ring cold. Vlad tried to get a rematch with Sanders, but Sanders refused. Finally, Vitali nearly beat Sanders to death, stopped him...................
