Foreman inside 2 rounds. He would have exposed Tysons myth in much quicker time than it took Douglas.

Tyson can't fight on the backfoot at all, he was at his most dangerous when fighters backed up from him. Foreman would impose his will and walk through Tyson and stop him inside 3 rounds.

Foreman within five. Tyson had a good chin so I think he'd get past the first couple of rounds but that's about it. Foreman would just shove him around the ring like a ragdoll same as he did to Frazier.

Foreman's style would cause many problems for Tyson, as the way how Foreman's arms travel when he throws his punches makes it difficult to avoid cleanly.

Then again Tyson did have true punching power and rapid combinations, it would depend on who lands their good shots first.

I didn't have to think long about this one.
Foreman by multiple knockdown KO. Two to four rounds.

well, let's look at fighters comparable with a george foreman.foreman 6'3" 220lb in his prime, great strength and punch, very good chin, decent stamina, great heart, average hand, foot speed and average boxing ability.now, based on these qualities i look at what tyson did to bonehugger smith, frank bruno, razor ruddock, all the same size with great strength and a great punch, but robotic.tyson late rd stoppage.george never faced a fighter with the combination of mike's speed, stamina, two handed power, combination punching and defense.

You cannot cmpare Foreman with Bonehugger/Bruno/Ruddock. They likely hit nearly as hard, but not nearly as good, Foreman would have beaten them all.

But he did not..........in his comeback he would not come within a 100 feet of those fighters.......

This is a 50/50 fight, I am not sure how Foreman would deal with Tysons speed, throws wide slow punches, has disregard for defense and does not clinch. Has a great jab, uppercut , brute strengh and certainly real mustard in his punches .

Tyson does everything pretty much textbook in terms of technique or punch arsenal.

Tyson has a excellent straight right hand with immense speed, accuracy and pop on it, if he lands those rights as frequently as Ali did in his encounter with Foreman then it will not be a question of if but when George gets knocked out.

Agreed. It can go either way between these fighters.

Tantalizing prospect this fight. I think peak Foreman stops Tyson in about 6, but would be ringside to watch it unfold.

As usual the Tyson fans ignore the thread title to cling onto his nuts.

It is the 73 / 74 version of Foreman against the 87 Tyson, not the come backing older man.
