Who you got, if Rahman had got the Tyson fight by beating Lewis II?

Rahman devastating knockout inside 30 seconds, Tyson couldn't handle the strength and power of the beast.

Thanks for the mention Poxeo#0 :good

A better scenario, is what if Lewis had not put a rematch clause in the contract.

This fight would almost certainly have happened in that situation.

Even though i hate Tyson, i still believe in 2002 he had enough to KO Rahman in 4 or 5 rounds, what the fOck else did Rahman do in his career but land the lottery punch against Lewis?? hell even Jawny Ruiz whipped his ass....

And BTW Lewis proved in the rematch that 2001 fight was a fluke'''...

    Rahman would win.

Tyson at that time was stiff , slow and had only a few rounds of fighting left in him.

Rahman was a big man with a strong left jab and powerful right hand, attributes that don't favor Tyson. I can't imagine Tyson being motivated to be in any better condition than he was in when he fought Lewis... Against this version of Mike Tyson I would pick Rahman by KO/TKO.

Rahman was Ko'd by Maskeav 2X and by Lewis and David Tua and was lucky Sanders gassed so I think Tyson would still be too much for Hasim....Mike T by KO

While light years better than Rahman, Tyson only went as far as the eighth round once since his 1996 loss to Holyfield and that was his 8 round loss to Lewis. By 2002 Tyson was basically a 4 round fighter tops. So it's a matter if he can get Rahman out quickly.

I'd expect Tyson to have the better of the first 3-4 rounds and give him a chance of scoring a KO anytime before the end of the 6th but I think Rahman would likely be able to get through the first 6 rounds and be competitive in them I then see him completely taking over as the fight as it progresses. I think should this fight have happened Rahman would've won by Decision or possibly even got a late stoppage.

I'd pick Tyson, and I'm kind of pissed it didn't happen after Rahman beat Lewis. Both sides tried to make it work.

no way Tyson wins, he simply wasn't interested in boxing at that time.

    Tyson would win this.

Tyson against Lewis, almost knew he had no chance of winning, he just turned up for a paycheque and a beating.

Against a second tier fighter, for a realistic chance at another belt, Tyson would be up like a mother.

Who would you rather fight for a belt? Lewis or Rahman

And its not like Rahman was some masterful boxer.
